KY Farm Share Coalition is a workplace wellness community supported agriculture (CSA) program. Our mission is to help farmers increase and stabilize their annual revenue while improving healthy food access and health behaviors for consumers.

 

Research for this program began in 2015 with a pilot program led by a group of farmers and the University of Kentucky. Initial findings suggested that employer incentivized workplace CSA programs could create the opportunity for significant positive health impacts and support local organic farms. Inspiration for this project came from our partners at Fair Share Coalition in Madison, WI.

The KY Farm Share Coalition works to elevate the concept of CSA in the region and advocates for the human, environmental and economic health benefits of eating local and organic.

We are a farmer led coalition and operate as a program of the Organic Association of Kentucky.
