About
Kentucky Farm Share Coalition
Kentucky Farm Share Coalition (KYFSC) is a workplace wellness community supported agriculture (CSA) program. KYFSC works to increase healthy food access for Kentucky eaters and increase annual revenue for Kentucky farmers.
Research for this program began in 2015 with a pilot program led by a group of farmers and the University of Kentucky. Initial findings suggested that employer incentivized workplace CSA programs could create the opportunity for significant positive health impacts and support local organic farms. Inspiration for this project came from our partners at Fair Share Coalition in Madison, WI.

The program elevates the concept of CSA in the region and advocates for the human, environmental, and economic health benefits of eating local and organic food. KYFSC is administered as a non-profit program of the Organic Association of Kentucky.
